Bucksport - Inexpensive nice 9 hole course, I usually make the longer drive to play here, and the ladies behind the grill are super! 207-469-7612
Blink Bonnie (Sorrento) - forget the
fairways,
enjoy the scenery, and learn to love those oh-so-slow greens.Friday
morning might be reserved for members but otherwise should be open for
play. Leave green fees in envelope if no one there. Wednesday nights
have traditionally been an open scramble starting at 5 I believe (at 4
later in the year).

- on Rt 1A towards Bangor. Challenging hilly Donald Ross course, 9
holes, carts advisable if your legs are suspect. Senior Scramble Mon

The Causeway GC - Southwest Harbor is public it would appear.
Northeast Harbor - semi-private, open to public except between July 1 - Labor Day,
Bangor Muni (Bangor) - get a tee time. Always in great shape. 27 holes 207-941-0232
Traditions
- an interesting short course with some challenging holes, driving
range, inexpensive, nice restaurant featuring Pat's Pizza and more. Big
hitters will have to stow their drivers on a lot of the holes. They do
have leagues so check website or call to see if course is clear. 1 Main

Belgrade
Lakes (Belgrade) - what a course!
You get relief if a fox steals your ball! But bring your wallet! 18

Kineo - need to get some info on it. Played
it once and had fun. You need to take a ferry boat over to it! It's out
by Moosehead Lake - stop at Abbott Bakery on your way for a great lunch
and baked goods.
