Fishing in Georges Pond is reputed to be quite good - I don't really fish, just drown worms, so would appreciate any info you might have. I do know the eagles, ospreys, and loons seem to make a good living! I have caught small-mouth (18" limit/1 fish, as Georges is trying to develop its bass fishery), catfish, white perch, pickerel; I have not caught any brown trout but everyone else seems to.

And remember the game warden is about! I've seen them on the pond a couple of times each year in the summer and saw them come in on a ski plane to check on some ice fishermen! You need a license even if you are just handling your kid's pole!

Buy a license and support the cause!
